q just with the cool down times im guessing your in good shape -17 after 10 min. It took my little cooler about an hour to get there and an hour and a half to get to -21 and thats where it stopped. If nate hooks you up and you can prevent liquid form sitting in the block for too long your golden. Oh yea and my 17 @ 4.6 while benching brought up temps only 6 degrees an hour or so. If you just get your coolant as cold as it goes ill  bet it provides hours and hours of fun for you. Most likely enough for a full session. Maybe then you can put up some 2d benches remember those

been playin poker for about a week straight trying to raise money for something to bench. Started with 30 bucks up to 350 but I keep shi#tting the bed at final tables last night finished 9th, let me tell you how frustrating that is
10bucks to get in
326ppl to start (last night)
9th place = 51 dollars
1st place equals 770
total playing time 4 and a half hours

They have gambling in Ohio?  Riverboat?  Good luck.  Gambling is probably close to benching...you get that rush when you think you're going to win, only to be disappointed by someone's full house (or physx crashes)  Both feel the same, LOL!

Anyway, time will tell how the chiller goes...currently waiting on a mag 7.  Dang Amazon still hasn't shipped it!!

I'm kind of worried about the flow of the mag 7...thought it might be too fast and not giving the chiller enough time to cool the liquid.  I have 4.5 gallons in there now and @ 700gph, that liquid will circulate through the system 155 times in an hour, or 2.6 times per minute.  That's just the raw math, I don't know what happens in real life as I'm not considering the time it takes to complete the loop.  It's still pretty fast, no?

That's pretty fast sounding yeah. But it'll have to pass blocks so it should slow down somewhat.

No gambling in Ohio play on bodog no time to go on poker trips. Kinda like benching just as obsessive. It makes it alot more fun to by parts with money I won instead of earned.
Just passed some laws think there going to build some casinos soon. Im not that good at a real table though like playing on my pc can talk to you guys on second monitor and watch tv so I dont try to force action.

The idea is you wont be giving the coolant enough time to get that hot so it will make it easier for your chiller to keep up. I think like I said I built one C- unit so not really sure on alot of the math

Wheres lephron when we need him

You're closer than I am Halo...tomorrow I start to prep my boards/cards, so when my "deliveries" come, I can get going!

@reg...So should I let the chiller get as cold as possible, then turn the computer on?  I read in drewmeister's thread that was a no no...seems the cold migrates to the components and condensation can occur.  What say you?

so just out of curiosity what should a 12,000 BTU AC unit cost used?  i found a few on craigslist and the one I'm looking at says its been recently serviced and sealed from sears.  asking $110 and its a Kenmoore branded unit.
