@ Nate, very funny!

Don't waste your money on buying pellets if they cost a good bit more. I bought scrap chunks cause it was $.45/lb, compared to $.87/lb for rice pellets. I just smashed up the chunks in a big plastic bowl and it worked perfectly fine.

Mega jealousy. Only place I've found so far is Publix and it's $1.29/lb there. And yeah, I just wrapped it in a towel and hit it with a hammer to get small pieces.

@Nate: That micro block is lookin' mighty fine! Also, what are the dimensions of the mounting holes for s775 and s1366? I am thinking of designing and making my own cpu pot(s). Also, what would the best way be to connect an aluminum tube and a copper base?

I don't have the dimensions for the mounting holes, but my LN2 pot plate has the holes tapped for both.  I took a 775, and 1366 waterblock and measured a few things here & there and put all the mounting holes on it.  As for connecting the alum to copper base, you can try to press fit it.  I don't have the capabilities, so I myself would actually make sure the fit almost had to be beat in.  I would coat the entire side of the copper "plug"and the alu tube inside and fit them together and wait until it cures.  JB Weld is chemical "resistant" and considering how often it would be used I wouldn't worry all that much about acetone eating away the JB Weld.  If I was using LN2, I have no idea how that would work.

Thats why I would just use a copper tube, and braze both together, with copious amounts of heat.

any mounting size you could ever need is right here:

on a side note, i spent a few hours today with some ln2 and my p55 setup.  Things didnt go entirely as planned and i seem to be stuck around 5.7ghz.

Good news is my CPU is good under cold!  CBB is about -110c and CB has yet to be found with ln2

Sick vokl. No CB is very good. Thanks for the mounting dimensions too. That will come in handy. What are the measurements in though? They are all just numbers. I am guessing mm?
