So I came back from PAX and I got to actually play with Fermi. I have to say the 3d stuff going on at that place was incredible. In order to have 3d on multiple monitors, you need a 470/480 as your primary card, and a 285 or better card as your second card. Kinda sux for people who don't have those cards, but for people that do, they only need a single Fermi card to enjoy absolutely BREATHtaking 3d. (need those glasses though) The amount of heat being thrown out of those Fermi's was crazy. I feel like I could easily burn my hands. No worries, thats what water cooling is for. I also did notice that just about every computer there had a Classified mobo. I looked inside every computer and checked out those 480's. They are AS LONG as the x58 board. Still such a sight to see.
Also I actually got to TOUCH the SR2 (not with my calipers) but i took dozens of high res pics of that board. I can't tell you how much larger it is in person. Once you see this SLAB of pure bliss, you begin to wonder where the hell your going to get that thing to fit. Then I said to myself I would probably re-arrange a room for that thing (and donate my left one)
