basically you want to "displace" any air pockets with matter.  That matter can be vaseline, kneadable eraser, insulation etc.  I was at work and I forgot to post the pictures on my work computer!  I would defiantly get some plasti-dip and coat the motherboard around the socket.  defiantly on the resistors next to the socket.  Those things do NOT do well with moisture.

Put vaseline in the socket, then slap the cpu in?  put regular thermal paste on the cpu.  How bout the RAM..is it close enough it needs protection?

Will blowing a house fan on the whole thing reduce the chance of condensation, or is that not necessary?

Now the GPU's...seems I would need to do tops and bottoms of each 295, right?  kneadable eraser ok?

Broke through P42k non-physx. Only 135 points away from andre yang's best vantage score (4 5870's)

Hey sorry for late response. Yah its dual sided and works with asus 295 and reference 295 + all the other cards including upcoming fermi. It does work ok with dry ice becuase of teh larger top, but really its made for LN2

Great job Q! Keep it up!

Tomorrow is my last day of school before spring break. DICE here i come. I also plan to finish up my little project. What board and proc. should i use first under cold? I can't decide b/c i am worried about f'ing it up with condensation. My DFI LP UT P35-T2R, my Gigabyte EP45-UD3P, or my EVGA 750i FTW? Obviously, the EVGA has lifetime warranty, but it is also the weakest overclocker, and the vreg and nb get toasty when pushing volts; also it has the least indepth oc'ing options. The Giga is still under warranty (at least i think), and is good for quads; but i don't know how Giga's CS or RMA process is. The DFI is secnod hand, so no warranty; it's good for duals; also though it has the cleanest socket area (no caps around it). The procs are q9300, e7400, e1500, pd 915, p4 660. I haven't used the e1500 or p4 660, but i figure i could test 'em out on air and see what they can do before tossing them under the cold.

I was thinking maybe DFI + pd 915 (hit 4.7 fairly easily with it)...

I just want some opinions though.

Haha. I'm just messing with you. I want to get a P55 Classified and a i7 860 for some DICE fun but I'm doubtful on that. It would be hella fun though.
