work? on a Saturday night?  You must be a bouncer

I washed out my 2nd chiller just now.  It was not pretty.

Lessons learned:

1.)  Use Algae stuff.
2.)  Do not use ONLY water (albeit it best for thermal transfer, you should mix it with anti-corrosion mix AND algae stuff)
3.)  If your reservoir is made of clear plastic, do NOT put it in the sun (or see rules 1 & 2.)
4.)  If you put nothing but plain water in a clear chiller and put it in the window, where sunlight will get to it to breed life (and erode the evaporator) again see rules 1, 2, & 3.
5.)  Install a removable shower head so you can clean your chiller in the bathtub instead of freezing outside.

yeah, but just like we're bragging about grabbing and benching two gtx295's...so we're a few 285'ers...now they just up and fell off the face of the planet...lol! i would buy 2 5970s before buying 4 285's..lol

not a bouncer but computer repair/network admin

and mine res is one of these...they seem to work well...my water is pretty clean.

My res is home made, so everything still fits to fit inside the same size as the original 5000 btu AC.  This is the one that doesn't go sub zero.

My chiller that goes sub zero has the 12 can cooler.

nice!.
they told me that they can put a different board on this to go below sub zero...at first they couldn't understand why...till i said it was a computer...then they we're more than helpful with ideas...lol

and their is a ready made tek chiller but on a much lower scale than the ones for serious over clocking. and it's for an aquarium. need to look it up and see if they got any better ones now...that was 3 months ago.
