ok, so how do you make dry ice work/?

Kind of a vague question.......

1. Get pot. For DICE you dont need quite as much surface area as you do with LN2, and you can have a more massive pot.
2. Put Acetone\Everclear\etc in pot, about an inch or so high. Any liquid that doesnt freeze at DICE temperatures (-78.5c) will do, but PURE acetone works the best, dont use nail polish remover
3. Fill pot with DICE pellets. The smaller, the better, but dont waste your time chopping them up. Dont fill up the entire pot until you make sure your CPU doesnt cold bug at a high temperature. If your lucky, your i7 wont cold bug with DICE, and you can stuff the whole pot with DICE without having to maintain a target temperature.
4. BENCH!

EDIT:

and obviously, do this in a well ventilated area

Thats it in a nutshell.

what do u think nail polish remover is?

damn...things we're going alright...till......
water on the board....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

and it was under the eraser

cleaning it up and will get back to benching in a few.

edit:
if you get the fast reboot over and over starting with the f3 or f6...means water is on the first set of tiny chips on the mb. right next to the long black ic chip. there are a row of 8x8 right next to the cpu hold down

get some Kneaded eraser, you can get it at a local craft store, or if you have a chain Micheals, they sell it. Plastidip is much harder to clean than kneaded eraser.

Nick was telling me that they got RMA'd boards where people just left the plastidip on
