What card do you have? I had a non reference fan model that the voltage was not adjustable.

looks pretty easy actually by easy I mean ive been reading for 4 days straight and I think I get it now

Thanks for the links Reg...  Conceptually, yes...put the evaporator in a liquid that won't freeze and pump the liquid to your blocks.  I'll get right on it...

I'm certain that if I keep digging and am motivated to learn, It'll come....but not naturally...I tell my wife to call someone when something mechanical goes wrong at the house!  I mean, I'm a finance guy, so I'll whip you up a nice spreadsheet if you need one, lol!  I'm actually not that bad, but you get my point..

hey q I think I just busted my dehumidifier but now I know how easy it is. Its running super cold but I kinked some of the line I am going to let it run for a few hours and see if its too late or not. Im going to hit craigs list up and just try to find a few of them.  Oh yea it only took about an hour to do. But I put both rads in the cooler like a dumba$$ and when I bent them back to fix it I kinked a few things.

If you figure that one out let us know.  I had a non-reference fan model (xfx) that I was able to bump up the voltage slightly.  And I mean only slightly (up to 1.163), but It gave me the ability to go over 1020 core.

I tried the MSI BIOS which with my card, didn't work with afterburner.  Go figure Msi after burner didn't work with MSI Bios...humm.  With asus bios, i was able to over volt with the asus doctor software.

It's fairly easy to flash the bios back and forth, so I'd give it a try if I were you.

You mean you stuck your rads in the cooled liquid instead of pumping the liquid through the system?  Did you run your system and get some lower temps?

no I dont have my system hooked up to it yet. I have to build some sort of housing and figure out a way to cool the compressor its running super hot. I think my cheap thermometer gets stuck at 10 degrees because its been there for a while but the rad from the evaporater is in the cooler and  the part thats not covered with water is frosty so I think its working. I just checked to see how much this dehumidifer cost and if I knew I wouldnt have used it. (it was a gift) Ill take some pics once im done if it works.

Oh yea and thats what im going to try first is stick my rads in the cooled liquid and see what happens. I have 2 acs and might pick up another dehumdifier I found on craigs list. What ever I decide this one certainly wont be my final attempt.
