the first time...no prep. i was scary
kept water at 65F running nb/sb/cpu/2 gtx295's
then i started getting a bit bolder and started seeing condensation.
so i made a foam cutout to put on and around my cpu block. and i wrapped the nb/sb with a sort of towel. and the gpus i just watched kind of close..and would let the system warm back up.

in the end...after selling the 295's i only have the cpu under water and the nb/sb under fans and have since  been able to over clock farther.

if i was to put dice under the intake of the fan would that make condensation on the heatsink of the gpu, or worse the gpu itself?

Easiest way to "Get it Colder" without having to do any insulation is to take your entire computer outside. Since it will be the ambient temp that is making everything colder, you wont get any condensation.

Although its already mid march, cold weather season is gone in most parts.

Oh I know John.. I want one sooo bad.. Most likely what'll happen is this: I get the Gulftown for benching sometimes, but I'll run my 920 24/7, and my dad will run the 980X in his rig, then when the 970 comes out I'll sell my Cherry 920 and get one of those. Then I'll use whichever clocks higher. Cool eh?
