Not the best looking lapping ive seen but it serves its purpose. Wish I had some solid temps to compare it too. And my IC7 is still setting in, but the temps do look a little better. Didnt hurt anything (other than my warranty) thats for sure.

the godsend 759?

your going to need to pull the board apart and look at it carefully for water in and around the socket and on the components near the socket. and i wouldn't be waiting to long to do that...else rust (or what ever that green stuff is and becomes) will form on the board...speculation of course

I will do that. As is now I do not see anything resembling wetness any where. Just a bone dry desert.

What do you guys think, For some reason now when I restart is a no go cycles through to 69 shuts down starts over... Nothing O/Ced. Turn psu off then on starts up normal only once though. Always have shut psu off/on to boot back up. PSU bad?

Bad board.  I am having that SAME problem.  SAME.   something on the board shorted out I guess.

which board is this?

asking nate as well.

My 759.  it just died last week.  RMA'ing it now.

Took everything out even the CPU.  But the board would try to boot, then shut down mid post with a CPU only.  usually during the 60 something post code.

Nice job on the lapping Rudster!

Guys, sorry about your rma's, but get 'em in quick....you don't want to have any down time when fermi hits!

I going to take a break from benching for a week, or so....too much neglected work....need to catch-up.  Plus I have to study on how to do this a/c chiller thing.  I'll be asking some questions to you guys, for sure.

+1 that lapping looks great!

And I'm gonna be taking a short break too most likely. It's now the last month of the short course season and Senior Champs are coming up. Need to own there more than I do at the bot.
