Sweet! Price? Also, what make is it, and by whom?

Duniek Wide pot. I bought the pot for $65, but Vokl had just bought some insulation he needed for it so I bought 3' of 2 7/8" ID insulation for the pot for $13. Thats $78 total for those who cant add.

Still gotta buy the eraser however.

Damn lucky bastard! That is a super amazing deal. My cpu pot i bought a while back was for $100 (insulation included) but the pot is nowhere near what you got. Oh, i am sooo jealous right now....

Just to make you more jealous I just picked up a NB/SB waterblock for $30 from Iride4u.

Water's for newbs ( at least, above-ambient like Halo). Ya gotta roll the DICE. When i got my cpu pot, i also grabbed a nb pot for $25.

EDIT: Just saw the marketplace. You got an amazing deal i must say.

With X58's DICe on the NB isnt nearly as useful as it was on LGA775 because the i7 has an IMC.

You could make a NB pot for $15 with a copper sweat cap and pipe\plastic mounting Maybe Nateman should do this and see if he can push his Q6600 further.....oh wait nevermind......he lit his 790i on fire!

I plan on using the DICE pots on s775 extensively, before i even conteplate putting it on my Classy, which is my main rig. I have 3 nice s775 boards to use first: DFI LP UT P35 T2R, Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P, and an EVGA 750i FTW. Oh, and my chips: q9300, e7400, e1500, pd 915, p4 660. Right now i am trying to work on the e7400, which is in the EP45 currently. So far, it seems to be a bit of a volt-whore; 1.5v @ 4.2 and it bsods at the Windows loading screen. 1.45v @ 4.0 and it is stable just long enough to get in a SuperPi 1m and WPrime 32m test. Keep tweaking it seems...

Also, i wouldn't/don't plan on using the nb DICE pot on my Classy, even if i put my 920 under...

Ha. Lucky you and all your S775 stuff.... I'll have to run DICE on my X58 boards first. Might get a friend to let me do his Q6600 and noname board.

improving...4.2 w/ 1.55vcore actual 1.52v. Ran superpi 1m and wprime 32m at 4.2.

I guess with this chip, it just takes dumping the volts into it. The good thing though, at idle, the temps are still too cold to measure. Both cores have stuck sensors at a minimum of 30*C. Both are like that now. Load is around 35-40*C. I don't know my ambient down here in the workshop, but my fingers are going numb typing, so that has gotta tell you something.

What do you guys think, For some reason now when I restart is a no go cycles through to 69 shuts down starts over... Nothing O/Ced. Turn psu off then on starts up normal only once though. Always have shut psu off/on to boot back up. PSU bad?

Have you stripped down the system to the bare minimum?
