Just out of curiosity are any of you guys experiencing the turbo dropping out when hitting -45 and below
its driving me crazy its happening only on my 920 (both of them)(classy 760)

and i can't seem to find any thing about it else where!!!!

-45, man I wish.  I'm at +25!

Can't help you there.

Yeah shock +1 on that

although i was having reboot problems and found setting the modes in bios (i tryed most bios's) didn't seem to make much diffrence (quit possible it was some thing i was doing though) but moving the jumper did help

When working with Extreme Cooling, Startup temps when jumper is set needs to be -20 or lower. If my temps were warmer than -20c I would experence boot problems. If I let the Vapo chill down to coldest temp then boot was no problem. Also setting Cpu latency and QPI compensation to Less also allowed for easier booting with extreme low temps.

No dice, (yet) Just a cold room everything is cold, Just wanted to see what that jumper was all about. Does not seem to do much else. But then I am not using extreme cooling.
Got 5870 to 1065/1275 with window fan blowing 20F air into card. The darn mem on this card is weak.

lucky dog...it's 40F here.  960 can still hold 4.8ghz though...vid cards stink though.

Just passed 300 hardware points...guess I better start looking at how to get some more global points.  I've benched everything but a E6850 cpu.  I'll have to pull it out of my wife's computer...

Looks like Ati until next month when you know what....

Ha ha John thanks
yeah it all boots fine i can boot in at -70 no probs but turbo is not on (even if its enabled in BIOS)
then if i run the system and warm it up to around -45 -35 turbo kicks in and away i go
but i need to keep it around -45 to use it, i then start the bench, drop the ice in cool it down and hopefully turbo stays engaged most cases it does but its a juggling act i can do with out.

Try enabling C6. Under normal cooling it will sometimes give you the x22 multiplier, so it might help here.

I just woke up this morning after having turned off my computer last night and left my window open. This is what I woke up to. Wasnt to bench or anything though. These temps are a good 12c lower than what they normally are during the day 55f in my room when I woke up!!

Hay reg from what i under stand it is a bios option  because the gpu is part of the cpu
might be worth a look (then again i could be wrong)
