What am I doing wrong, I replaced my non reference fan model 5870 with a regular one that also has voltage control, and it does not clock as well as the other one with out voltage adjustment capability. Highest temp I get on anything according to GPUZ is 29c.

what are your clocks looking like?

1050/1285 Seems to be the limit. Redid tim that brought temps down a couple degrees but that's it. Maybe just a dud.

Great job guys...you know, I never ran high or entry presets..

Awalleye...just out of curiosity, what make is the 5870.  I'm thinking of going with MSI or ASUS next time around.

Wow, i had no idea.  Maybe I should look at that once in awhile.  But, how can that be?  I know plenty more '06 scores better than mine...how can I be #4?  I mean I'm #6 on Modsrigs.  Is it by account?  Only your best can be listed...and only FM approved drivers....  Humm, I still can't believe #4!

i ran that as an after thought...now i regret not doing allot of test..grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
