glad to see that page three bothers others too. I was really hoping I could bench a little higher with my 930 but after about 20 hours of trying to get to 4.8 I guess im just glad it can still bench where my 920 did.

Try using an x21 multiplier. Remember that you will need more Vcore set in the BIOS to match what you actually get with E Leet though without Turbo.

Even multipliers dont OC as well as odd ones. This is why the 930 is replacing the 920 I would say. Intel is fighting OCing by some weird phenomenon of odd multipliers OCing better than even ones. Kind of my 2 cents on the issue.

If you havent already sold your 920, hold on to it. If Intel actually phases out the 920, it should be worth more than what its worth now since people will want the 920's over 930's.

yea thanks for the advice rudster but I am going to sell it the wheels are already in motion and I feel like im going to keep the 930 out of principle. The 930 does have a few perks. I can get to 4.6 with way less vcore which is what I needed so I can keep benching year not sure how I am going to cool it in the summer but it wont be as easy as a rad in the window.

Buy a 5 gallon bucket and a couple of bags of ice

We have an ice maker so I plan on trying to round up some buckets and start collecting Ice from it and the Ice cube tray's we have. We have a big freezer in our shop so I should have plenty of room to stash it

I plan on doing that for the summer\spring months on the GPU's and DICE on the CPU.

My next move is going to be a sub zero one I might have to wait untill summers over though im pretty busy this time of year. I might try my hand at a cooler with a ac unit.

Depending on what I can afford, and what my parents allow me to do, I'll use this* for mah CPU, and this/these** for mah GPU(s).

If they won't let me, I'll do CPU/GPUs on chilled water.

Ive been playing with the idea of buying that Koolance pot soon as one of my GTX 275's and keeping the other one.

Otherwise I would borrow a pot for doing my first DICE run and see what kind of money im ready to drop on a pot.

Okay, Nate you can put one or two of these pics on the first page if you want.

Last weekend I decided to try something, I took a cutting board, wrapped it in a dish towel, stuck a couple blocks under my rig to get it higher off the glass desk, and then I loaded up the makeshift tray with ice. The UltraKazes in the bottom intake took in a ton of cool air from it, the highest amount that my temps dropped was 8*C. Lowest temp I saw was 32*C, which I find amazing for a GTX 295 on air. Didn't get many benches in though, the ice melted pretty fast.

It didn't even make a huge mess.

I think Nate will take offense to that
