dual monitors is the down grade
so your dual cards netted you 5 fps faster than a 5870 (i just checked)..well..make that...some 5870's....lol

I guess. Right now I got two cheap monitors. One Hann-G 22" and a Westinghouse 19". My current desk doesnt have the real estate for three monitors unless I get some smaller speakers and get rid of my receiver.

It will allow me to upgrade to x2 in the future. I want to wait until after Fermi hits the market to buy anything. I definitely dont want to get the second best GPU like I got with the 275. Last time though I wasnt a bencher at all though.

Im hoping that Nvida\ATI would get in to another price war and Nvidia would launch there GPU's at a lower price than ATI's, forcing all the GPU's in the market to a lower price point, but this isnt going to happen unless hell freezes over (which might at the temps you guys are running at). Im more interested in seeing Nvidia's prices than there performance.

I want to get the single fastest GPU from either ATI or Nvidia, whichever is cheaper. (e.g. if the single Nvidia card is slower but cheaper, ill grab that). I want to be sitting atop either the Nvidia or ATI camp.

I just need to find a source of income too.
