I havent got a vantage run past cpu tests since I installed catalyst 10.2, alot better to game on but really want a bench score I gave up last night trying again now. I see you figured out aquamark shock, nice runs.

Something wierd is going one. I have a vga power supply that I just hooked my card up to to give my cpu more power. Jon I think its the same one you have thermaltake toughpower 650w vga psu. Usually when I had it hooked up, and on the power led and which ever of the 12v rails I am usings led comes on. Now the 12v rail led goes off in between tests and during 2d mode??? Does the card only pull power from the board in 2d mode?? Seems unlikely. Not really sure what to make of this I guess ill keep testing and see.

Oh yea not the drivers that were keeping me from passing the tests it was my 9600. Buzzkill I really liked the idea of having two differnt cards to bench in my rig.

Just failed another vantage run for some reason my gpu says its not pulling any power from 12v rails during cpu tests is that even possible.

I have that 650w express too.  I had it hooked up when my main psu blew back in December.  I've never trusted it again since that night, since I don't know if it was somehow involved with the toasting of my 1000w psu.  I've heard others have had problems with it, but John and Hallowen used it for quite some time without nary an issue.  Your issue might be related to the 650w power express unit.

still got mine and running like a champ...they only way it would have problems and people dont notice it..is they will splice the green wire someshere along the install and the unit will eventually ground out

are you running yours right now jon do your 12vrails go on and off or are they always on. Mine were always on with my 280 now it goes off when ever im in 2d mode with the 5850.
