open task manager and watch the the cores...see if they are really being used.
also load up real temp i7 turbo to see if your clocks are changing like they are suppose to.

I somehow corrupted my lga775 XP install updating to SP3. ??  Oh well, I wanted to run the x58 board tonight anyway.

What BIOS version do you guys use? (Classy e760)

I was using the latest stable BIOS before I tore down my rig to do the WC loop. BETA 43\44 are garbage TBH.

I just did this voltmod of my ATI Radeon X1300.  Now if I could actually figure out HOW to overclock it... I would be in business

That is a pretty bizarre looking trimming potentiometer; short and fat.  I like it.  Now don't dig too deep into that comment.

I have been considering doing a capacitor mod on my cards to see if it will add stability.  The real issue I have is space due to the usage of the stock heatsink, the presence of back plates, and the tri-SLI configuration.   I have also been considering increasing my OCP limit higher to see what that will net me some more performance gain.  I am really still pondering if I have bumped up the the limit of the stock voltage regulators though.

RivaTuner still not working? When i tried using my crap-o x600xt, Riva worked fine for me. I was on W7, using build 2.24c of Riva. I dl'ed it from here: http://downloads.guru3d.com/RivaTuner-v2.09-download-163.html
