I think so....you were the first > 45k, which was back in July as I remember.   He never passed you again, so he reined from say Jan 20, 2009, when the 295's hit the market, to say mid July.  So six months.  You've had it for seven months...

nate, if he keeps that 960 in...he'll take my record. because now he has the cpu speed...he just needs to get his gpus up to the task.

I was looking at Team EVGA's awards and saw this one:
" #1 GeForce 8800M GTS in 3Dmark 2006 with 10196 marks"

Hmm... it would be fun to play in that competition.

With my laptop with the 8800M GTS, this was my best score:
3DMark06 Score: 10,105
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=8429938
Mine is also a p6860-fx
"Modified from stock: 2.5GHz T9300 vs 1.83GHz T5550, 4GB 667MHz CL4 RAM vs 4GB 667MHz CL5, Raid0 WD HDDs, 630/960 8800M GTS vs 500/800 8800M GTS"
^(mine) - John's is liked above.

So close, so close.

JohnKSSS, what was your secret?  How were you able to overclock the processor and memory?  The standard memory runs at 667MHz.  So, did you increase the memory speed and processor speed by FSB modification?  And how?  And how did you get that processor to work with the motherboard?  I didn't think it was supported.  Do you have a custom BIOS?

what are you waiting on..get to submitting! that's a 3rd place score and a free bronze trophy..:D
and the x9000 worked in the 6860/6831 and the x9100 worked in the 7811. i didn't have time to grab that title because i only had that laptop for like 3 days. then ditched it and bought the d901c clevo. once you change to the right cpu the bus jumps up to 800 mhz (you need 800mhz ram to start with) as well.
no custom bios, just plain hard over clocking..:)
