then this is the time you use to iron out the nicks in your over clock...then when you have the block on...it should be that much better.

ya im doing allright benching at 4.6 dont know if I can get more out of my cpu max temps are around 60 during vantage runs and my max bootable isnt much higher than that. No matter what I try I can not get my board to boot above 223, beleave me I have tried.

ahhh i see I get alittle nervous pusing my gpu too far without proper cooling getting max overclock is pretty easy on gpu. Lets see how hot it runs do you think if I put a cpu block (775) on the back of the pcb with thermal tape it will pull some heat off??

its not always about how high the clock, but the correct setting used for the better over clock....


they can make or break a good run...

Looking at your posts, your temp said -50c, that seems really high for DICE, I dont think your pot has enough mass to control the swing on an i7.

I'm about to get $200 selling my G1 aswell. Dont exactly know what ill do with that.

Page 3 is where I measured the temps with thermal probe. 


Rudster:  That was -50° C with 1.7 volts poured into Q6600.  for just an afternoon of benching I did pretty will with that Q6600.  I think the results speak for itself.  Think of it as getting your feet wet?
