I am giving up on my 295 block endeavor and just going back to what worked.  maybe up and running again tonight.

my block is actaully working pretty damn good now.
and now that pj isn't a problem anymore. things are looking up!
i did get a few test runs in at 4.6 ghz, but still a bit shakey...

I had a small scare last night with moisture, but I caught it in time, so no problems.  I have my second 295 here with me at work so I will start taking my contraption apart and go back to the normal waterblock.

depends on how you look at it.  its primary function was never tested.  Its alternate function had GPU temps @ 50°C idle..  creeping up way past 80°C with minimal loads

Could have been worst, but the idea is to have everything running on plain water all the time, and only running the chiller during benching.

that's what i was doing before...used 2 radiators and ran the system...then would turn the chiller on for serious benching.
now i just run the chiller..lol

You know what bugs me about the HW bot thing, why do they disable the PPU.  I specifically bought Nvidia cards because they HAD phys-x.  Let ATI come up with something for their cards.  If that give Nvidia an advantage, then wouldn't that make ATI try to develop something to combat it?
