I am almost ready to test my block....

I built my 1st chiller with a portable AC unit like that.

The condenser coil is the only drawback, its slightly rounded .
Since it was only for benching wasnt a problem, just used a box fan up against it.

I'll dig it out and post some pics later for you to see what I mean...

Idk what you paid for that thing, but you could have just bought a SS unit from Sdumper for a little more

i paid 400 bucks for it
it was for cooling my computer room.
i was half joking about the phase change from it
sdumper isn't the speediest of people at the moment, from what im told. who knows.
side note:
and you can't get no 13,000 btu anything from any one at 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 900 bucks. (phase change only)

I built when taking a refrigeration course,calculated to handle 400Watts @-35f  (1200-1300 Btu@-35f)
Running R22/R290 blend with Poe oil ,I hand built the tube in shell heat exchanger,(the big round copper thing)it was a PITA.

Man its dusty ,ill fire it up tonight for laughs...

at ZERO overclock, on JUST PLAIN water, Been running LinX and the CPU temp never went over 29°C 
The lapping job now has 4 cores within 5° of each other.

This is just plain aqua.  running through 2 triple rads.  i can run 4.0GHz on 1.3Vcore.  wow.  like this block already.

Eh.. Isn't a good 920 D0 able to do 4.2-4.3 on 1.2V?
