I have had one interesting moment benching tonight though. I was ready to get so mad and sad at the same time, but i got lucky, or my mobo is one tough SOB. The board is a DFI LP UT-P35-T2R. It has onbaord power and reset switches. So after a failed oc, i go to turn it off. I pushed the power button, and felt a SHOCK. I thought, "Oh sh*t, please don't let this happen to me." I was so freakin nervous that i killed the board from the shock. But luckily it booted up just fine right afterwards when i hit the power again. Yay me! *knocks on wood*

im just getting back from the store with this new patriot test ram...was trying to get some Kingston hyperx2k's but they we're out.

ehh. Nothing worth posting right now. Just tinkering with settings. Voltages, speed, ect. trying to figure out the best configs for benches still.
 
I did hit 1150mhz consistently and 1175mhz a couple times with my Dominators (ddr2) at stock timings 5-5-5-15, with just a bit of voltage over stock. Used 2.15v and 2.19v compared to stock 2.1v. Trying to hit 1200mhz without too many volts is a PITA.
 
I have a quick question though. What is considered acceptable for benching for ddr2 volts, with a fan blowing on the sticks?

I hate waiting for parts, specially when you dont have a decent PC to use. Hopefully this Classy will be worth the money I spent. I guess I really be able to tell until I Get it Colder

I usually just use manufacturer specs....probably somewhere around 2.1v on ddr2?

where can i buy Neoprene Foam in UK or anywhere that sell it ?
