LOL... thanks for the advise.

What life without a little excitement???

Remember your in the "Get It Colder"  thead... we have been there and done that... I have had plenty enough close calls before when I wasn't paying attention on an un-insulated board... and got a little too cold.

I'm not a stranger to condensation or frost... I'm done for the night and already removed the waterblock from the board while it was still frozen... so no water will ever get anywhere except my bench.

Don't get me wrong... I appreciate you looking out for me... I just didn't feel like taking the time to insulate this SLI LE board for subzero for tonight's runs... as I'm just waiting for my Classified to get back in town.

damn dude... 221 stable?  that is good stuff!  I have no idea how long mine would last, but maybe today I will give it a shot.
How cold is the liquid pumping?  I dont get lower then 13°F  pumping it through the 295's and the CPU.

ALso lucky for you the humidity is quite low..  its a fine frost on your block.  If it was more humid, you probably would have more problems, but im guessing around 40-48% humidity?

-10*c coolant.... I would have gone to my normal max of -13*c but I need to clean the dust out of my condenser  It was actually raining and about 35*F/60% humidity in my garage... I just let it frost up and took the block off after the run since this is just a temporary SLI LE bench rig until I get my Classified back.   All the frost just melts onto the bench and no harm done.

LOL that was at the begining of the run... I thought about taking some pics at the end of the 1 hr run where you could hardly read "Swiftech" on the block.

I had today my first dice session. It is big fun even if it was a short pleasure. I ordered 2 kg ( 20 ltr) but I got 200gr.

After 3 runs the little portion of dice was gone but at least I moved up to 44k in Vantage

Next time hopefully more dice and maybe better result

Grats... I need to try that some time!

Is that chilled water I see going to your GPU's?

There is a dry ice place about 7 miles from my house....

FYI... Wal-Mart sells dry ice.... I have run it in a slush bucket... fun to watch it boil!

I don't think DICE in a chiller is such a good idea.

It was Dice in a 5 Gallon bucket for me and did no better than regular ice as I was just starting to play with the whole chilled water thing. To use dice in a chiller... I think they use acetone... scary!!!
