ati will sell no matter what..so getting rid of them wont be a problem....but i have to wait for regular users like us to get and bench them under our conditions to see where they fall.....

Great scores john...puts our single water cooled 295's to shame.  Yea, don't know if you'll be able to RMA multiple times with sapphire/diamond (who ever make them), like we did with our eVGA 295's.  What brand you have?

I had mine to -12°C last night and I don't think I could squeeze another mhz out of them.  I am right around max range without either DICE/LN2 right on the chip.

went up just a hair, but not enough to take me to 7th @ bot.  That HD59 is clearly the next top performer.  We should generate LOTS of wow about the HD59's.  Maybe it will force Nvidia to leak out some info bout their 300's. 

On a side note:
My super secret project was a bust.  it wasn't technically a fail because it brought the GPU's down to -15°C, but it did not perform the way I wanted it too, and deep down inside I just knew it wouldn't.  I was just being optimistic as usual.

5970 is pretty impressive! Still, I think 2-4 5870s would be a better buy.. Then get them on chilled water.. Mhm...

i was thinking that to...till i saw a single 5970 doing 34k gpu..

i think i still have plenty of room to grow...since the core is locked at 1000 and it's still on air.

Now that you think it's a bust (probably not), is it still super secret?  What did you do...hook up a phase to the gpu's?  That's about a 30 degree difference from the coolest I ever got my GPUs.
