Found some Pics of a Powercolor Red Devil RX480 and it APPEARS to incorporate a Fixed Plate/Cooler design to cool All the GPU/VRM/Memory Chips which means to me that you would have to mount Separate Heat Sinks for the VRM's and Memory if you use a "GPU Only" water block on it.

Thanks!! I don't know why it was so hard to find a picture of the PCB/cooler underside but I was having no luck. I sorta figured that would be the case, since none of the reviews I read on it mentioned it having a plate. Now the question I'm facing is whether to hold and see what RX 490(X?) might hold with Vega.

I got these pics in a Powercolor Red Devil RX480 review on Youtube (Screen Capture).

I'm guessing that when the RX490 gets released, The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti might be released just behind it!

Just as we were discussing before pertaining to the Wonderful World of HOF Benchmarking in 4-way SLI, Even if you decide to spend around $6K for Four Titan XP's and EK water blocks and only Chilled Water Cooling, Chances are you still won't stay on Top for very long!

On that same subject of More than 2-way SLI.........

I Just saw This Post in the EVGA GeForce 900/TITAN X Series Forum about the Newest Nvidia GeForce Drivers (372.54) where it appears they have also evidently disabled 3 and 4-way SLI if you are using Hardware OLDER than the New Pascal Series!

Betelgeuse
Seems like 3-way and 4-way profiles have been removed, at least for the Witcher 3, from these drivers. Got terrible performance and saw that only 2 out of my 4 cards were being used, any changes or forcing all 4 cards to work resulted in terrible performance. Going back to older drivers fixed the issue. I hope they're not getting rid of multi-GPU support for older hardware too...

Now, THAT is hitting below the Belt!

If Nvidia is starting to disable 3 and 4-way profiles in their latest drivers for the New Pascal cards and the Older Hardware also, They really have become inflexible about anything over 2-way SLI profiles except for a very Few Benchmarking programs that allow 3 and 4-way SLI to work.

Thanks NVIDIA, You have managed to send me Back in Time to 2008 when I had nothing but Two EVGA 8800 GTS in 2-way SLI.

This better not be true or I'm gonna flip.

I can agree with that.

(maybe not quite to the same extent, but it's the principle of it more so than it directly affecting me.)
