overclocker333 Looks my Thermaltake 650 watt gpu psu just quit on me for the second time... guess it doesn't like TECs. I will have to check my email and see what kind of amperage those TECs were... I thought 6 of them were 12706's which are 127 couplings for 16v/6amp... so running @ 12v they should have been only 4.5amps. The other 6 were 12709's which are 127 couplings for 16v/9amps... so running at 12v they should have been 6.75amps each x 3 = 20.25 amps. I have three per PCEI connector so it should have been well under the 25amp per rail the Thermaltake is rated for. The gpu psu has 2-8 pin pcie and 2-6 pin pcie connections. You would think that that would be one 6 pin and 1 eight pin per rail... was I wrong in thinking that? I have had two of the 12712 TECs per connector which are 9amps at 12v for 18amps hooked up on each connector before with no problems... do you think that the 20.25 amps was too much for it? Too bad PC Power & Cooling Doesn't make a PSU like this... then you know it would do what it says... LOL... off to Micro Center to see if I can get a new Thermaltake! *Note* hope this doesn't piss anyone off!
nateman_doo heh. I been off for hours
nateman_doo heh.... Where to get 5fps from. that is a huge leap
