Yeah I know, looking forward to seeing some benching numbers once you get the kinks ironed out.

980 KPE #4 arrives tomorrow.. maybe Wednesday.. It shipped from NJ... Less than 2 hours away... I should have picked it up.

They definitely are all uefi. Even my 980M's are.

Hallowen, have you enabled the osd monitors in evga to actually watch what the clocks are doing? They don't have to do great numbers while enabled, only that they need to be stable. And if they start dropping then you can end the test right there and try some different settings.

No, I haven't been enabling the OSD Monitors, But That sounds like something I should have done!

I'll do some testing using that when I resume benching. As far as only being able to use 353.06 drivers, I can only hope Nvidia releases some better ones soon.

The drivers can be fine, but the way the vbios is manipulated might not be.

I wonder if the cold bug could have been needing more petroleum jelly on the PCB of the gpu.. I didn't get it over the sli fingers, and I just remembered it frosted there.

The card works fine now, so it was a self correcting issue if it was part of the problem.. But it was only working when the drivers loaded.. Everything worked great without the driver installed.

353.12 driver At least it's another driver.

Thanks for the link,
I tried those also, But they did about the same as the 353.06's

True, But even using the stock factory 980Ti SC+ Vbios, I still could only load the 353.06/353.12 drivers, Which (at least in my mind) means Nvidia has something to do with this problem.

If you mean the PCIe Slot/Card connection was frosting/condensating, I would think that probably could cause those problems.

No, I thought the PCI slot frost could be an issue, so I jellied that. The sli fingers frosted over, and I didn't have anything on them.
