I mean they will not load using anything but 353.06/353.12 drivers in windows 7/8.1.

Every driver loaded with no problem with my Titan X, But in there is something different with the 980Ti's that if you look at GPU-Z 0.8.3, It has the "UEFI" Box checked that, and I may be wrong, supposedly means there is UEFI hardware on these cards that only work with the new drivers??

I tried to uncheck it, But No Go, so I'm not sure what to do next.

Ah, ok.
I might have to look into that. Might need to hex edit that out and see if it will work.

That would be cool if you could find a solution. When I had my Titan X the 350.12 drivers worked much better than the 353.06.

Wow using an unapproved driver give you results that will be approved? If not, will it be worth testing to get unapproved or enknown driver results after the tests finish?

Do your cards throttle in any way shape or form or do they run maxed out? Meaning..... Do the clocks hold or do they bounce and jump?

I was checking out the settings for those modded bios files and was not sure.

Always better to have approved driver's else they won't show in the rankings. Unknown can be updated I think and will eventually show up. (Through FM Updates)

I don't believe they are throttling running at 34C-36C under load, although I HAVE seen somewhat identical scores on 3DMark 11 Performance Preset Benchmarks with the 980Ti's that actually didn't get any higher scores (around 40K+) than when I was running my 4X GTX 980 setup, Which I believe might have been caused by GPU throttling.
I noticed that with your 4X Titan X setup you are getting around 45K+ in that same benchmark (although your CPU is at 5.0GHz and Mine is at 4.8GHz).

It almost acts like sometimes it does throttle depending on what benchmark I am running using the Overclock.net 425W/1281mv modded Vbios.

WOW Hallowen, you had a nice run there, some really solid scores!

Scarlet, tough luck on the cold bug.... that sucks.

Thanks Dave,
Pretty Good Scores even though I am relatively upset that I had to "make do" with the Only Nvidia Drivers available (353.06) that will load with any GTX 980Ti Card.

There is definitely something I am missing about why I can't use older Nvidia Drivers like with my Titan X (mainly 350.12) that worked better.
I still need an explanation of why the new 980Ti's have (and show) the "UEFI" box that is checked as indicated on the GPU-Z 0.8.3 screen??

@Hallowen
Yup, it is a good start.  Not sure why the 980TI isn't usable with the older drivers, but I have noticed that is typically the case with a new release.  As for UEFI, all modern cards should be natively UEFI so it doesn't surprise me that it is labelled as such.  If your TitanX did not or your 980 KPE's form before, I am really not sure why they weren't labelled as such.

@Scarlet-Tech
Yeah I know, looking forward to seeing some benching numbers once you get the kinks ironed out.
