Does anyone have a really good guide to wrapping up some 780 Classifieds in some warm, water resistant clothes so I can slap some DICE in the pots?  I am thinking about the Clear Fingernail polish, then cover everything with Petroleum Jelly, but I am not sure if I am supposed to cover the memory as well?

I plan to find some DICE this weekend, since I have 4 days to burn.

Personally haven't tried any DICE/LN2 prep for GPU's, But Overclock.net has some good threads/pics under their Dry Ice / Liquid Nitrogen Forums if you search through them.

Thanks Man, appreciate the thumbs up.

I was almost at the point of wondering if anyone out there still had any interest left in Overclocking/Benching Information.
Every year there seems to be less and less forum members that are still "into" this area of finding System limits, But it has come to the point where it really doesn't surprise me anymore.

While I do not partake I follow this avidly, don't have the time/space/money these days to have a stand alone benching rig just to see what I can push out of it, however I would love to.
There are definitely still some of us that love it, I guess the masses isn't as into it because desktop hardware caught up with the applications, more or less, and also so many these days are face first into the phone and I have been asked by those types before why even have a PC when you have your phone and a smart TV.....  SIGH.  You don't need to have SLI and a clock to not feel the lag in general 1080p gaming anymore, and while I dont NEED to OC I still do because I enjoy it and I follow these exploits as well, and hope they keep coming!

Yeah, Time Marches On with all the latest technology available to everyone that wants it resulting in people losing interest in the not-too-distant past technologies very rapidly.
Probably one of the main reasons why I don't feel like spending $4K - $5K on a new 4-Way SLI graphics card setup.
As you probably have noticed lately, I'm just playing around OC/Benching with a Much less expensive (although it Still cost over $1K) single card setup which while enjoyable doesn't quite measure up in "Fun" value compared to my other past 4-card SLI Systems, But at least it still keeps me active, Although to a lesser degree.

I look at this all the time. Right now my enthusiasm is there, but my wallet isn't. Love overclocking and benching.
You and others on "Get It Colder" are a lot of my inspiration, you all know who you are. Definitely one heck of an expensive hobby, especially with the fast depreciation of components.

+1, right now I don't have much to contribute. Halfway through college already though!

But believe me, when I finish assuming I can find a decent job, a 4 Way SLI system will be going in the play room along with a couple 180L dewars.

For now I just have to live vicariously through you guys, I still have some fun toys up my sleeve but no time to use them. Tek 5.0 Slim, GTX 285 Classified, GTX 295 Dual PCB, GTX 580 Classy, CPU DICE pot, 4x2GB Dominator GT Elpida Hypers (8-8-8-24), W5580 ES, i7 960 that can do 5GHz on 1.5V, X58A-OC. All kinds of fun toys.

Alright gents.  I have the Scrap Heap up and running.  We are about 30 minutes in and the infamous condensation starts..  The problem is, it isn't at the bottom of the phase change head..  It builds up where the foam and tape is, and then drips onto the mount, then onto the motherboard.  it previously had nothing up top, so I added shop towels (removed for the picture) foam and the tape hoping to hold off the condensation, and I am even running my air conditioning in the house to reduce it as much as possible, but as you can see, it is already starting again.

Should I pack that full of petroleum Jelly... seal it with actual AC Insulation and duct tape... I am not sure what to do.. Maybe recharge the system?

The socket is tightly packed with petroleum Jelly, the outside of the socket it tightly packed as well.  I added shop towels and even thicker foam. Thank you all for the help and I look forward to the answers.
