Wow, I'm trying to break 31k, and you're strolling along doing some easy work @ 34k!

it's your power supply...you need at least 1350 watts..(and not because it's two years old...but because it never had enough juice to begin with)... your shy a few watts and amps....

example...test two...the explosion...that's about 1300 plus watts right there. i forget what it is near the middle to the end of jane....not to mention your bios settings....

That's what I thought John...thanks for the input and confirmation.  I went ahead and ordered the 650W TT GPU PSU.

Speaking of BIOS settings, I had to majorly rework them just to be able to eek out some more volts to the GPU's and stop my card's LED from red lighting.  It worked to take me > 31k for single card, but quads....well, like I said, system turns off.

Nate, That vcore is nuts....just nutty enough, I'll give it a shot!

Do you guys think the 650w psu add-on will be enough?

John and hallow swear by that power supply.  I would just swear by a single rail power supply.  At least if you buy an additional power supply, you have extra connections for fans, HD's pumps etc...

Well, I haven't had this before, but now that my OC's and voltages are much higher, the system just shuts down at the end of Jane Nash.  No problem with single card, but quad-sli is a problem.  217@1.56875vcore,  with GPU volts high enough to attain 815/1805/1220-50.

If I drop the GPU clocks and voltage slightly, it squeeks by with P45's runs.  Trying for P46k, obviously.

Could it be my 2 yr old 1000w enermax PSU not providing enough power?

If you have everything running on the one PSU, then pick up a smaller PSU and set it up to handle all the HDs and such. That should help get that little bit extra juice you need to get over the top.

Thank Mr. N, that's what I was thinking, but didn't want to spend the cash.  I'm thinking the 650w thermaltake gpu PSU like john and hollowen run...only $100!

I have one too to run help run my TEC chiller.... not very quiet but it is cheap!

If you want quiet, don't get a PC P&C power supply, thats for sure.  Sucker sounds like a jet, but its quieter then the air conditioners
