I am liking the look of those new K|ngp|n cards.

So buy 3 or 4 and send me your 780ti's :p

April 1, I may... ;-)

I may get the new cards when I get my bonus, if waterblocks are available for them.

I loved the 780ti KPE cards. I'm sure the 980 version will look just as awesome. I would assume EK would have a block available at the release of the card since they make Hydrocopper blocks now. But correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Hey Guys, I have a Question that needs just a little Clarification.......

I USE to think I was doing pretty well all these years when I ran Futuremark Benchmarking Tests, But Will Somebody Please tell me if I am seeing this 3DMark Vantage Performance Score correctly that is listed as a "Valid" result on the Futuremark Hall of Fame, or am I starting to get Delusional and might as well just Quit Overclocking anymore!

All those years paid off! GOLDEN Setup. I will buy it for $100 right now.

That really is craziness.. I wonder why it did that.

I have No Idea How that EVER could be True, But that really makes me think about the Actual Truthfulness in how Futuremark Scores are determined.

I haven't really trusted the scores when they suddenly skyrocket. It makes me wonder if it left a lot of the items out that were supposed to be rendered. That is the only thing I can honestly think of.

Sometimes if the screen goes black or w/e the test will keep running. Since the card just runs a black screen it runs 1000+ FPS and gives a ridiculous score. To be honest I just look at HWbot since they weed out the garbage like that score.

Also, these may be a certain combo of hardware/firmware/drivers that can make some oddball false positives, I have seen it in a few things before, kinda like people with rather bleh systems getting HUGE Catzilla scores.  Sometimes those are someone gaming the system, sometimes it is an honest test with a weird bug, those get fixed, and others are just as Halo said, blacked out and ran at 1k+FPS.

And YES, you have done very well over the years, I have watched your subzero testing for years, and I know many on these forums have learned a lot from you and many others here for their clocking experience.  Don't quit benching, it would be a disservice to the community, and we would lose a solid bencher.  Keep up the great work!

Thanks Guys, After thinking about it awhile, I came to a similar conclusion that it was another erroneous result in Futuremark and to just leave it at that.
Even though I will still continue to use Futuremark Benches/Tests, HWBot does appear to be more accurate and less prone to errors such as these.

All in All, It won't deter me from continuing Overclocking as long as I am able to keep up with the purchasing ($$$$) of all the multiple components needed to continue building my 4-Way SLI Rigs.

Even though the New 980 GM204-based Classified Kingpin release time on February 19 is almost upon us, unfortunately I must admit this time around I've personally held myself back from running any recent Overclocking Sessions and haven't been convinced as of yet to dump more considerable funds to purchase four of these New Cards until a while later on after their release to see/read some reviews from those specific buyers that will go ahead and post some Testing/Benchmarking comparison results in order to get an idea exactly how much more (if any) of an percentage increase in the Scores will be accomplished against the previously similar 980 GM204-based reference/SC/FTW and Classified card series I've been testing in recent months while using only Air or Water Cooling and not just the results of LN2 Cooling, Even though as we know that Benchmarking using LN2 is what the Kingpin series was specifically designed for.

Granted My X99 Rig looks pretty bare with no New Graphics Cards ever since I sold the four 980 Classifieds, But I think It'll definitely soon come back to life hopefully with some type of G200-based cards in the no too distant future, Albeit at a Much higher MSRP.
