I'm getting more motivated than I was, Doing benches with the GTX 680 Classys on the X99, But Today I'm expecting my replacement RMA 141-BL-E760-1A and I need to get it back up and running which hopefully will recognize my original hard drives info/OS's from my old 141-BL-E759-A1 board.
 
You never Know, I may even try some runs with the E760/i7-980/GTX 680(s) just to try and add some HWBot points!
 
After that's done, I'll continue with other components/combinations and do some more testing/benches with the 5960X processor while still waiting for those elusive EVGA GTX 980 Classifieds to become available.

Yep. I think im ready to grab one of them for a keeper once they hit.

Yeah, That was one of the reasons why I lost interest in submitting more scores on HWBot all those months ago due to all the babies "Waw, Waw, Wawing " about trivial BS missing items, But Glad to hear the Mods have straightened things out now.
 
BTW John, Those are some Great benching Scores you made today.
You were probably right about the fact I should have run more Benches before I dumped the four EVGA GTX 980 SC's I had, But You know how I just can't seem to wait to get my hands on the latest components I think are going to work the best in my Rigs, or at least until I see/hear of something better that those! LOL

Its a bit different now. 3dmark can read your cpu and gpu speeds. Then you set the same speed to find the memory speed, But since i know what mine is that part is easy. Open your score on 3dmark.com and add the cpu and gpu and snap a picture. mod said the scores where fine, but to show how easy it was to fix I added the screen shots.

I i left cpuz and gpuz in the exact same spot and just did the four scores in question.

You cant get your hands on them any faster than they are released. . That's why im still running these for a few more days.
And no one card is a cure all for great scores. So you try to grab what you can as you switch through cards, but in this case. You will be in a good position to climb pretty darn fast!!
Remember, this is all stock and cpu is on the chiller. That's it. The harder scores to get i used a fan. And since this go round, hardware is very damn expensive. Not alot of people going to be doing the complete upgrade to get those scores. That is your advantage. If i had the RVE i would get another card and do 4 way.
 
You'll see when you get your next batch of cards, because now you'll have an idea how to go about it.
Im lazy right now so no ln2 or dice. I really need to quit doing that though.

Yeah, As usual, Here I am once again waiting with baited breath , This time for the GTX 980 Classifieds to show up sometime this month in yet another attempt to try and purchase four of them for my 4-Way SLI "Habit' Like a junky needing another Fix  to cope with my Overclocking Addiction I seem to be unable or want to Quit because I'm Totally hooked on it! LOL!
 
....Then again, I suppose to the casual observer of this "Hobby", Most of them who haven't ever become involved or engaged in this allegedly crazy/insane side of computer system modifications will NEVER understand the Mindset that drives someone to spend so much time and $$$$ JUST for the satisfaction to try and push hardware over the operational electrical/mechanical design Limits as we Overclockers do! 



 
 
 
 
 
 
 

They only start to understand if you visualize it in something they love to put money into with no real gain, but satisfaction of knowing you did it.

They still wont get it. LOL
Side note:
Kind of wish i had a fast sandy bridge setup right now. I bet these suckers would fly on 3dmark01/03/05 and aquamark.

You two are so right, my uncle who is an IT guy say repeatedly that he doesn't get it and says it's a waste of time and money.  But I got him to change his tone, as he is an avid muscle car and race fan.
LN2 benching is Top Fuel drag racing, for computers.  All you need is about 750 revolutions under load, and not explode long enough to set a new world record ET.   That is exactly what we do here.
 
i love seeing any of my hobbies pushed to a completely absurd and realistically useless level, simply because it is just FUN.

LOL, Right Now I'm just trying to keep up with the EVGA Graphics Card "Schedule" that appears to me like they are releasing a New One almost every Month, Plus I have to make a mad dash trying to purchase Four at a Time!
