While doing some overclocking today, Been thinking about how EVGA's upgrade path seems to go on and on causing a financial chaos situation for Benching fanatics on almost a monthly basis lately.......
The Next Graphics upgrade that will be released is the EVGA GTX 980 Classified, Then a GTX 980Ti, Then maybe a GTX 980Ti Classified and/or GTX 980Ti Classified Kingpin Edition, and somewhere around that time frame there might be a GTX 990 Dual Core, etc....etc....etc....and that's not considering the costs of All the completely different Graphics water blocks that for one reason or another won't fit the next newly revised PCB designs.
I Bet even Intel will eventually jump on the bandwagon again and decide to enable the four other cores on the 5960X octa-core, Turn it into an unlocked Desktop version of their Xeon 12 core and selling it at another multi-thousand $$$$ price,..... unless they decide to come out with another CPU socket revision (2011-V4?) that requires another new Motherboard design that uses DDR5 Memory Modules.
Ok, Now I Feel Better. LOL!
