They Have All been Sold in Less than 2 Hours and Now I'm going to sit back and get Ready for the GTX 980 Classified "Triple BIOS" with an EVBot Port, or perhaps wait a little longer for the Kingpin Edition.

I didn't need much testing to see that with the 980 reference Cards with only a single Vbios, even if they came out with a Modified Vbios, This isn't the Card I want for Extreme Overclocking/Benching.

Maybe not, but you sure could have used the practice with them. (Personal opinion only)

These MSI 980's I got from the store will go back next week. After I have had a chance to thoroughly air test them. Get a feel of how they bench on all test. Right now I'm running them on a rive/2666/4930k. And they are beating my ti's in most test but not all. I'll will retest once i get my new board/cpu and ram some time next week.

Well, Although I have always appreciated your personal opinion, I assume You have the Advantage of returning your cards within 30 days (Didn't You say you were close to a Microcenter?) whereas I can only return mine for an exact Replacement and No Refund.

I would have bought the next upgrade anyway, But I'm not going to wait too long like I did with My KPE's/EK water blocks and lose $375 each when I sold Them!

The benefits of living in a county that loves technology. Also newegg/mwave and a few others are about 25 minutes away as well, but as you know. They have a gpu (newegg) for gpu policy.

I know, I almost bought 3 of them but decided to just grab regular ti's for points. I'm on a points mission. . I will keep a card or two once im finished, but until then. I will keep borrowing open boxed hardware and running test.

I don't know...I guess I just look at it differently Since we all started getting more active after the gtx295 days. q56, sniperoz, nate, awalleyeguy, you, me, reggiesanchez, halo and a few others. And when I look at the list, I guess I kind of expect to see you up there. (Talking about hwbot) And having four cards and top of the line hardware will in fact put you up there. This is what benching is about. and why we "get it colder". I understand about the trials and tribulations of life and at some point we will all go through them, but should i happen to take that path, then i will make my bench station sit right next to the bed!. . That will keep me very busy for weeks at a time if im not able to move far or leave the house. You mentioned about not catching people on ln2. At this point it fall under "who cares" scenario. . You just work with what you got and keep going. I haven't pulled out my ln2 or ss in a very long time, but yet I'm able to climb using just chilled water. I'm lazy right now so I don't want to fully insulate the boards just yet so i just fight with something far worse. "Condensation" Which is all to familiar with running zero temp water. But of course, you knew this as well.

So what im saying is...I hope to see you put forth a serious effort when you get this next setup. It's been far to long for you to be just sitting in the "basement" on the USA boards.

Again, just my personal opinion.

I Truly Agree with what you are saying John, and I wish I didn't have all these Health Problems (that I'm sure you and everybody else are tired of hearing about), But As You might or not have noticed that lately, I'm quite content going at my own speed with just buying/testing every new component I can get my hands on using whatever cooling scenario I feel like using at the time, Whether it's Air, Chilled Water, etc... and running my rather limited "standard" testing/benching programs and occasionally some of the tests at HWBOT whenever I Feel the need to do so.

Yes, As you say, I could do much better than I have been since back in the "Good 'Ol Days" of using X58's and GTX295's, But believe me It's Not like I don't Try as hard as I can without having to keep explaining what problems I'm having today in my Life (Yeah, I Know I sound like a Broken Record quite often). Believe me, I DO try as hard as I can to run as many tests/benches possible to improve my positions whenever I find time enough and am physically feeling able to do so.

You probably Think I don't push Every and All the limits anymore and am not wanting to use LN2, Helium or whatever the Next "Super Cooling Advancement" becomes available, But I definitely would love to if I thought it wouldn't adversely affect my health, which BTW I found out even Dry Ice was too much of a chore for me to accomplish during that brief session I tried recently without having to change the environment of my Closed Air Conditioned Testing/Benching room that, For Me, evidently does not have enough adequate ventilation to prevent problems breathing after a short period of time working in this room due to too high a concentration buildup of CO2 resulting in increasing dizziness where I had to quit and leave that area for awhile.

Definitely I will continue to attempt to "Get out of the Basement" as you have put it and put forth as much of an effort as possible to improve with the rest of my fellow enthusiasts in the Future as best I can (Even if, As you have stated, God forbid I had to be in a Wheelchair or can't leave my Bed!).

Anyway, I'm Always anxiously looking Forward to the next new component releases (including the Thrill of trying to purchase enough of them I need) which is just one of many enjoyments I have always gotten out of the Life of being an Extreme Overclocker.

You know, I think Nvidia caught on, and will no longer make dual GPU cards like the 295 anymore.  It was the first time that almost everyone could afford the top of the line GPU's in quad SLI.  Now that only make individual ones, and keep the prices waaaay up.  end rant.

What's a Titan Z, then?  $3K, yes... but it's a dual GPU card.
