Yikes, what did that set you back? I just bought a hex core a few weeks ago and it already feels obsolete now

Thanks Halo, I can't seem to resist the temptation of buying what I consider the Best components to use with this New Build.

Well, I'll just say that the 16GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum costs me Half as much as the 5960X did!

Thankfully, Since I am still going to use My four KPE's I won't have to invest another Multi-Thousand $$$$ for any New Graphics Cards/Water Blocks for the Time Being until I see what the GTX 880 Series can do when they are released.

Man, I'm Definitely going to Need More Accurate Specifications Before I will be able to Decide..............

On This........

Or Maybe something similar to This......

My vote would be for Gigabyte UD7 variant if they make one (or whatever they call their X99 OC board if they make one), or for the ROG Rampage board.

Although obviously I have not physically seen any of these as of yet, I really would like to see the Final released product Specs on both an EVGA X99 Classified along with an ASUS X99 ROG Rampage before deciding.

IMO, the Gigabyte X79 offerings sucked the worst for overclocking. I suppose that is why the "if they make one" is mentioned and repeated.

So much for truth in advertising........

I said in an earlier post that I found and ordered an i7-5960X last Thursday that was described as "In Stock and would ship in 24 hours" (from PC-Connection.com), But Alas, It seems the Lied about that in their description, so I canceled the order and pre-ordered one from Fry's.com which they say should ship on the 28th of August and the cost is a few hundred $$$ less than the other retailer's price I was about to pay.

At least I should get my DDR4 Ram this week, and keep on looking/waiting for the X99 MB releases.
