What are you replacing the ram with?

 
Since the X99 Motherboards are going to require 288-Pin DDR4 Memory Modules, The 240-Pin DDR3 G-Skill ram won't work with an X99 Platform.
 
I also still have another set of 16GB (4 x 4GB) G-Skill Trident X 2666MHz that I need to sell as I am continuing prepare for the next new build.

LOL, The last Dual-GPU card I tried before going to the KPE's was a used EVGA GTX 690 that cost $600 (and No Good Comment comes to Mind about that experience).
 
My Days of using Dual-GPU cards for Benching have long gone away since my old Quad EVGA GTX 295's setup.
 
Maybe the GTX Titan-Z would find a practical Niche for itself at HALF the asking price (similar to a Radeon R9-295X) if you could ever find one that is selling that low.

Sold the 16GB G-Skill Trident X 2666, Now The wait for X99 continues........

I know I will have my hands full when that X99 comes out.

that maybe, but I am sure many others will also make stuff for this board.  I don't have the resources or the time to compete with them.

Today I ordered a set of Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 PC4-23000C16 2800MHz Quad Channel Kit (CMD16GX4M4A2800C16), Which is the First of Many Components I will need to start My New Extreme X99 Rig Build.
 
Next I will have to Decide Very Soon on Which MB and CPU to use them with (August 29th??)

Once everything is assembled, It should more than likely be another Fun filled Episode of Experimenting/Benchmarking.
