Hi guys, I'm new to EVGA products (last time I used an EVGA GTS250 VGA from 2009) so I have some questions:
- Last night, I bought an EVGA Z170 Classified K ship from US to my country. The board come with Bios 1.01. I have moved all of my component from last system as below:
CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k
WC: Deepcool Captain 240 Ex AIO
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LED 32GB 2666Mhz (4x8GB, 2 kits)
SSD: 256GB Plextor M7V
HDD: Western Digital 1TB Caviar Blue 7200rpm
VGA: MSI RX480 4G Gaming X
Everything running smooth and I have installed Windows 10 on it. However, when I go to Bios and set XMP to Profile #1 for running my RAM kit at 2666, the system can't boot up, only blank screen and system keep turn on and off continuously, the code jump very fast so I can't read what happend with my system. Turn off PS and clear CMOS, the system boot again at 2133Mhz of RAM bus. I have tried to put single RAM at a time but nothing different. Another issue is when I put the OC stat for my i7 (mul 45, vcore 1.350) the system not boot also. On my last rig with Asus Maximus VIII Formular, things run smoothly but when I change to the new board it can't. So, what can I do now, did I forget any step? :(
Update #1: After increasing VRAM to 1.450v from 1.20v as it stated in the XMP Profile, the system has booted. Test with MemTest86 and IBT ok. Now I've start tweaking my CPU. May I ask IBT results of you guys? I've got avg 55Gflops with setting of very high stress level and 10 tries. Is that ok or too low? :)
