Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare occasionally rubs elbows with the best moments of its predecessors, but too much tedium and half-baked multiplayer make this one hard to recommend. It’s not so much that Infinite Warfare is written any worse than its predecessors. No, the bigger issue is that Call of Duty now invents its enemies. It creates them from scratch, tries to ascribe motive to them, and fails.

If for whatever reason you’re buying Infinite Warfare for the multiplayer, it’s also worth mentioning that the game hasn’t exactly had a rousing start on the PC. That’s not too surprising—many were dead set against this game from the start, and Call of Duty’s been a console-first property for years. But when your game is struggling to maintain the same number of concurrent players as last year’s game, a year later, well, the outlook isn’t too great.

Call of Duty, for all that it revolutionized the genre a decade ago, now feels frozen in time. It’s neither as tactical as it pretends to be nor as fast-paced as those who’ve now come after. It sits in an uncomfortable middle ground.

Except no recent big budget multiplayer FPS has that stuff any longer.

The inconsistency of professionals when bashing certain franchises, but then praising the exact same thing emulated elsewhere poorly is hilarious and so obvious it's no wonder many are leaving the shills that think their opinion matter any longer.

I tried playing through advanced warfare and just wasn't for me so uninstalled it. Couple of months later I thought well maybe I should give it another try since I might not have been in the mood to play it. Reinstalled it and about half way through uninstalled it again, didn't like it all. Went back to bf4 and now to bf1.

I havent touched COD since modern warfare 2 and black ops 1. Its just too repetitive. Nothing really changes.

The FPS market is extremely shallow. Mostly because a lot of FPS games being made now are more about big cash grabs then actually making a good game. I dont blame the developers. I think a lot of developers have their hands tied on what they can actually do with their game.

I think it's funny, both current and Ex InfinityWard developers games are tanking in sales.

TitanFall 2 released Oct 28th, 2016, Origin already offering 50% off
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare released Nov 4, 2016,  over 50% off on cdkey website

I actually really enjoy Titanfall 2, its a shame it has poor sales. It is a very well made game, and by all accounts reviews and meta critic agree.
