Since i did not got any answer in the Nvidia forum i take it here instead. It's not a EVGA card, but someone maybe has a answer on my problem.

Hi guys.
So i've been having this problem a while now and it's driving me nuts.

*The problem
I have a HTPC connected to my 65" 4K monitor with a HDMI and running it at resolution 3840x2160. To manage the HTPC i'm using Famatech Radmin and it works great as it has for the past 10+ years i've been using it :)
But if i shut down the TV/monitor, the resolution automaticly changes to 640x480, and the "change resolution bar" become greyed out, so i'm stuck at 640x480 untill i turn the TV/monitor on again.

I have always kept the drivers up to date so that's not the problem. Also i have a older AMD GT 610 card that i've tried with, and i can't replicate the problem with that card.

Any suggestion?

I'm no expert on remote control software, but I'm guessing that it's a software limitation.

What happens if you use the HTPC directly connected to the TV and controlled by a normal KB/M? (as in, without the remote control software)

Thanks for fast reply :)
English is not my native language so i have no idea what KB/M stands for. But a remote control software like Radmin or TeamViewer is needed since the TV/monitor are shut down.
And as i said before. There's no problem when i'm running with my old AMD card, so it seems to be problem with the Nvidia card. Is it possible to lock the resolution?

Keyboard and mouse, mia culpa (my bad).

That isn't a question that I can answer, as my television's resolution has never changed on my computer unless I change it or a game does. Which is why I think that the control software is doing it. Any chance that you can contact your remote control software's support?

No problems mate :)
I mailed Famtech several months ago with another question and i have not recieved a answer yet, so i guess i have to wait several month on this question as well :D
Hell, i might even give TeamViewer a chance again just to see if it solve my problem.
