I doubt very much that it will happen. Nvidia and Intel is a better combination. Words of advice. If ever offered the AMD kool-Aid, just tell them you want something stronger. Like an Nvidia / Intel combo drink. Make it a double. (Hold the ice).

Back in the day it wasn't .................................<<<This will probably raise some hairs on peoples necks

I didn't really knew where to ask, so I asking here.

With upcoming* release of Zen platform I would like to inquire if EVGA plan to support new AM4 platform. I know from multiple interviews that company stick with nVidia for GPUs and I understand that. However considering that AMD was (and still is) in CPU wilderness for past -whooo- decade+, perhaps support for Zen would be a good thing. Just thinking aloud here.

If yes I'll be thrilled (if Zen delivers of course), if not (and Zen is a success) it'll be massive downer to look elsewhere for boards. No reason to hide that I'm EVGA motherboard Junkie with capital J.

* - "AMD upcoming" means between now and 72 months. ;-D Cruel? Well perhaps a bit, but still very true. LOL

ypsylon Are you not Happy with your EVGA X99 Classified Motherboard?
The Day EVGA starts to make AMD Motherboards or AMD Graphics Cards is the day I drop EVGA.

Kind of drastic to drop EVGA if they make an AMD product.

AMD is not all that bad, my R9 280x plays every game I throw at it, as does my GTX970 and GTX980Ti.
My 280x is as good if not better than the GTX980ti at a couple PG Genfer WUs.  21 and 22

I think the color is more vibrant with the AMD card for some reason. Not a bad card at all.
I had it paired with a hexcore AMT 1045T overclocked to 4ghz and it played every game just as well as my i7-3939K

Damn that's ugly. The only thing that looks good on there is the EVGA logo.. lol

But then it was when ATI was Still Making the Graphics Cards
EVGA nForce 730a Motherboard - NVIDIA GeForce 8200, Socket AM2+, ATX, DVI, HDMI, PCI Express 2.0, Hybrid SLI, USB 2.0, eSATA, RAID Item#:       E145-2056         | Model#: 113-M2-E113-TR

I won't say I had this one.

OK A Little Off Sides is all. And I still have the AMD R9 290X Graphics Cards.

Yes but No, I did not have my first Intel processor until BigAdv came out. Until that point I have never owned a Intel CPU. AMD was the underdog giving the bully Intel a run for its money on the gaming end of CPUs but couldn't touch them on the nVidia GPU side. Also, nVidia was the "little" guy on that part too. This goes way back to BFG and their take on the "lifetime warranty" card swap who then went out of business and I found little ole EVGA doing the same idea. WOW am I old..................... IIRC my machine that is sitting collecting dust is a FX55 with 2 480s and 465..............It had been sacrificed for water cooling parts but still mostly intact.

Yes we are getting old, and I did go back to AMD CPUs in the BigAdv Days

I remember when you could take out an AMD CPU and put an Intel back in the same socket!
I liked those older sockets better, the sockets today get bent pins, or the CPU is torqued down too tight.
Remember the bad TIM, it would be like glue and you would pull the CPU out of a locked down socket.
Ahh the good ole days.
