I'm curious, if I buy from Amazon right now, how do I know if im not getting a card with a possible VRM issue?? Is there anyway to order a card right now with thermal pads built in and bios already updated?

Yah, I was wondering too. I think the only way to know is with the serial number, but I would assume it will have the issue. Personally, it doesn't matter to me, I'll just get the pads and put them on.

Yea I'm with you but I don't want to do the pads myself. And i think it's dumb buying and then rma. I don't know if I should buy from Amazon or wait for EVGA. EVGA is taking too long

EVGA more than likely havent seen Amazons stock, unless amazon specifically shipped it back. You may want to ask amazon of they have received a new shipment since the updates, but i highly doubt they will be able to answer the question.
