Already doing this. It is definitely easier than the old fashioned way of decrypting certain folders, and requiring the key to unlock it.

I don't believe so. I was under the impression you cannot unlock BitLocker encrypted files unless you have a specific Windows editions... Bitlocker is only included with:
 
Windows Vista and Windows 7: Enterprise and Ultimate editions
Windows 8 and 8.1: Pro and Enterprise editions
Windows 10: Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions
Windows Server 2008 and later..
