Hello guys,
I feel so frustrated!!!   Long story short, Nvidia released this 375.86 totally broken driver I did the update (Yesterday), i got some issues but I was like "Ok, problems with drivers its fine I will rollback tomorrow and its ok".
Couple of hours ago I used DDU in safe mode to uninstall the bloody drivers, all went well and after that I tried to install the older ones but to no joy. It doesn't even install the drivers and on the Device manager keeps saying "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
The driver installer does its thing and the card appears on the device list but nothing else. I tried everything I could think of, Reinstall different drivers, restart the computer before/after installations, etc etc etc and that's it.

If I open Precision X for example it says "No supported Hardware Detected" what should I do? Any Ideas.
All of this happened after I install that 375.86 driver, before that was working flawlessly.

Best Regards
AndreD.

Hello,

I am sorry to hear that. The first thing I would do is to uninstall any GPU overclocking utilities you have installed such as Precision X, msi afterburner, etc.

You may also want to delete the EVGA directory from your system located here: c:\Program Files (x_86)\EVGA

After doing this please re-install PXOC and see if the issue persists.

My problem is not even the card not being detected by PXOC, my problem is on the Device manager you can see the card but throws the Code 43 error at me.

Just did the exact same process and still does not work.
I still have the same error "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
What a nightmare! Any Suggestions?

Use system restore to restore your computer to a day when everything was working fine.

Sounds like the card may have failed. Try testing the card in another pci-e slot. If trying the card in another pci-e slot doesn't help... I'd suggest testing the card in another pc. I'd suggest taking it to your local computer repair shop to have it tested if no other pc is available.

Tried another slot (Same Problem) and my previous GTX 580 (Works Fine). Is it possible the card have failed?
