Would it be worth buying a b-stock GTX980? I would love a new GTX1070 or GTX1080 but they are hard to find and simply out of my price range. I current have a GTX670 4GB which works well for most games I play but is lacking in newer games. I tend to play games that don't push my graphics very hard like BO1 Zombies and Heros and Generals but I would love to play games like ARMA 3 at higher settings. The price of the B-Stock 980s are very reasonable and the 980 offers some great performance. I was thinking about either getting the

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 FTW GAMING ACX 2.0

or the

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 SC GAMING

Any thoughts or recommendations?

I bought a 780Ti and had no issues with it.  The only real downside I see is the lesser warranty.

And I would spring for the 980Ti over the 980.

Some time ago I bought a B-stock 970 FTW to run with my other 970 and it was in mint condition - no problems. It has been running 24/7 in the Florida heat and the temps are in the upper 50's low 60's.

That is a killer price so I would say yes buy it. The ti will give you better performance, but I really like the price you posted on the link to the site.

I would love to go with a Ti but like you said, the price point on the non Ti versions is really attractive.
