the status of evga pad is still awaiting even right now, so i ordered new pads (~$7 usd, 6w/mk pads) from retailer yesterday. seems wasted.
the evga pad is sent through fedex on 15/11, and i got the pads today morning on 16/11. very fast, even faster than updating the thermal pad mod request status lol. i am surprised the pads are sent by fedex, i am even surprised why power link is not included too, although i still have not got the payment email from evga.
i replace all stock vram pads with the new thicker (1.5mm i guess) vram pads. i also cut a strip from the 2mm pads for replacing the stock mosfet pad too.

this shall be my last thread here, hopefully i wont need to come here again. from the mess of micron vram to thermal pad contact issue, i am very tired.
