On the RAM compatibility page for the Z170 Stinger, it says:
"**The column stating “BIOS” is the oldest supported BIOS revision for the memory listed**"

And every single RAM module listed is at least 1.03 or higher.  Does that mean the BIOS would need to be flashed to 1.03 to support any of these RAM modules?  Does it mean unlisted modules are not supported?

I already bought the Stinger directly from the EVGA store, do they come with the latest BIOS already on them?  Despite building my own PCs for years, I am still a complete novice when it comes to everything outside of snapping it all together.  I have never updated the BIOS on any motherboard I have ever owned.

Thanks

Dear squeets,

Congratulations on your new motherboard purchase.  While the motherboard may not have the latest BIOS pre-installed it will be one that will work with most of the available RAM modules and can be updated once booted.
