Installation was pretty straightforward and I had to remove one 8 pin connector and move the remaining one just a bit to fit my GTX1070 card.  I plugged in both the 8 pin and 6+2pin power connectors per the instructions and everything powered up and is working without issues.  One potential problem was the power connector wires nearly touch on of the two front intake case fans.  Not much room between the end of the video card and the fans but I was able to bend down the wires just enough to clear the fan with a fraction of an inch to spare.  Setup looks good with the power connectors moved to the back of the card.  Thanks EVGA!!!!

That is close! Do you still have the protective film on the backplate? Looks shiney.

peel off that protective plastic layer, that can't be good for your heat dissipation mate.

Thank you sharp eyed readers.  I'm glad I posted the picture because I hadn't noticed the protective film.  It is gone now.
