Hello everyone,
I recently updated the VBIOS of my GTX 1080 SC and since then, under load the fans go crazy and make a huge noise that I'm able to hear it even when playing a game wearing a headset.
At idle they're not spinning and once in game after 7-8 minutes they go up to 2400rpm (under HWMonitor they show 5000rpm but it's obviously an error). I joined screenshots of HWMonitor at idle and under load.
Yes the cards runs cooler than before the VBIOS update, but the noise that the fans make is seriously unbearable.
I saw that there was a Thermal Pod mod that you could apply in addition to the VBIOS update but it not something I'm capable of doing.
Is there a way to fix this ? Thanks in advance.
