Game works on my surround setup , so I guess the Win 10 update didn't fubar it . As soon as I click on the icon it will crash saying an unknown error occurred . Did all the usual's & even reinstalled BL2 . If I launch it w/o using the launcher I can get in-game , but it will crash if I try to use a vending machine . The only other thing I did before was to download the Forza 3 demo on a separate hdd (never launched it yet). I don't "think" it would cause an issue but... I did try to post the event viewer info but it won't take for some reason . Lists as a Application Error : Event ID 1000 Launcher Error .
Edit : add Mafia 2 to the list...what the heck ?

There was a big Windows 10 update this week.  So far, I have had some issues with Origin and Bejeweled 3 no longer launching.  Borderlands The Pre Sequel seems normal thus far.  Haven't spent a lot of time with it, yet.

I figured out the issue . Version 4.2 (which is installed ) is causing the problem . I turned it off & launched all three games just fine . I forgot that I installed the latest version prior to the update . I was experimenting between it & Evga Precision trying to see which worked better . Precision made the fonts too big in the Logitech screen & wouldn't adjust down . So I downloaded the latest Afterburner & installed it . But , I still can't get my two 980ti's to o/c using the slider method . They will only boost to 1316mhz in sli & if I run in single gpu the main card will boost to 1405mhz on the core .
BTY , Origin does launch fine for me ...
