Hi Guys,

I can't order this part from EVGA's site as I'm living outside of the US (in Dubai), The EU site is down for ever and I can't seem to find this item anywhere else.

I've taken my replacement RMA'ed 1080 FTW (1st one caught fire) out of my pc as it started heating really good

Still NO update what so ever on the thermal pads which I've ordered. I can't seem to see status online other than the email confirmation that i got ? is this normal , where can i check for that, anyone knows ?

I know it they are under tones of pressure to deliver the pads but taking this long is just plain unprofessional

So, either EVGA allows international orders for this part PLEASE, which in my mind can ease the problem of the whole vrm's overheating or at least dump a good quantity @ Amazon or something ..

I truly believe that this kit can solve the problem for the lot of us, as I have a second EVGA 1080 FTW hybrid, back plate temps at this card is not a major issue even under full load.

This is my 16th card from EVGA and I'm starting to loose faith in the company, not sure that I will ever buy another card from EVGA !!!!

can someone help please

Support told me the eu store will stock these "very soon". You can find it on some US websites but the shipping will nearly double the cost of the kit. Out of interest, define caught fire?!?!? how bad was it?

one 1080 ftw card died on me only got it RMA'ed and now the new one is showing signs of really bad thermals, so i took it off the system w8ing for the pads or even gettting the hybrid kit which i prefer

All and all, I owned 16 cards from EVGA back from 2007 or 2008 not sure

well 4 actually got RMA'ed for different reasons but that still doesn't mean EVGA is a bad brand or something .. don't get me wrong .. always considered them one of the best out there

but the way they are handling the current issue is just damaging and tbh doesnt live up to our expectations of a brand that we praised for so long.. that's all ...

Did you manage to find one in the end? If your keen on water cooling, you should look into the EK Water Block. Google "EK Water Blocks EK-FC1080 GTX EVGA FTW". Would look real nice on a SLI setup, plus it'll do a better job that the hybrid kit.

So EVGA screws the pooch and your solution is to give them another $100+. This forum...

A Kraken X41 with a Kraken G10 will work as well.
