I just installed a new GTX 1060 and I have noticed that my monitor is not shutting off after I turn my computer off.. It keeps piping up with a black screen and a HDMI logo in the center.  I unplugged the HDMI cable from the computer and my monitor turns off,, but if I plug it back in with the computer off ,, my monitor comes  back on and starts the black screen and the HDMI pop ups starts again.

Normal.

As far as I know, if haven't been invented new technologies for top model screens, you need to manually turn off it...
